The Farsons building is really a hyper clean laboratory for white-coated technicians to propagate yeast, filter and ferment lager beer, and to administrate the function. The industry would never have contemplated a naturally driven building in this climate, or any kind of architectural statement. However our client was extremely anxious to make a memorable building.

We achieved, in collaboration with local consultants and contractors, probably the world's most sophisticated green building to its date, and invented a new kind of building for Mediterranean latitudes, derived from its context, exploring locally available materials. Only the glass and window frame extrusions were imported.
